Host An Unforgettable Paca Party!

Make your child’s (alpaca) dreams come true! Plan their next Birthday party at The Paca Picnic for a day full of fun for everyone.

  • Offered on Saturdays and Sundays

  • Two rental start times: 10:00 AM (9:30 AM Set-up) or 2:00 PM (1:30 PM Set-up)

  • Birthday parties can be booked up to 4 months in advance and no later than 2 weeks in advance

  • All packages include:

    • An appropriate number of minimalist, low ""Boho”-style tables based on your final guest count. Additional surfaces (i.e. Cake Table, Gift Table, Beverage Cart, etc.) and ice-filled rolling coolers are available for an additional fee.

    • Blankets/rugs

    • Throw pillows

    • Modern recyclable bamboo cutlery

    • Your choice of clear recyclable plates (perfect for menu items such as pizza!) or our signature crystal clear acrylic picnic snack boxes (perfect for filling up with wrapped sandwiches and pre-packaged kid-friendly snacks)

  • Additional cozy picnic blankets for your adult guests accompanying their children are available for $15 each, if you wish to add them to your package.

  • Please note: All packages include the ability to bring your own food, beverages, and cake/party treats. There is no additional fee for you to bring your own items.

  • BurnBox Pizza is our preferred restaurant for children's birthday parties. They offer delivery to the farm and are happy to extend a discount to all clients hosting events at The Paca Picnic. Ready for the best part? For every pizza sold, BurnBox will donate one back to the community to help fight food insecurity across Prince George's County.

Book Your Party

Use the calendar to book your birthday party. Once you have selected the date and party package, you will be asked to confirm these selections with payment.

A birthday party booking will not be considered complete until The Paca Picnic receives a signed agreement. Agreements are included in the confirmation email you receive after completing payment.

Important Details

  • Parties are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis and must be booked at least two weeks in advance.

  • Each party package includes a 30-minute set-up and a 30-minute breakdown window. Please let us know if you are working with outside vendors (i.e. a decor company doing a balloon or backdrop installation). We are happy to partner with these vendors to have earlier access.

  • Outside goodie bags are welcome.

  • Party hosts and guests are permitted to bring picnic snacks, beverages and birthday treats. Please note that there will be no refrigerator access at the farm.

  • Children must be chaperoned at all times. No “drop-offs” are allowed.

  • All party guests, including children and their parent/legal guardian, will be required to e-sign a waiver prior to your party date.

  • Celebrate your child’s special day with a day on an alpaca farm! Gather friends and family in a semi-private pasture that overlooks the entire farm, and embark on this dream adventure!

    What’s included:

    • Two-hour rental of a semi-private pasture with low, Boho-style communal tables, plus a 30-minute set-up period and a 30-minute take-down period

    • Maximum of 22 guests, capacity includes adults and children

    • A bucket of alpaca food for each child to feed the alpacas

    • Special shirt for birthday child

    • Ability to bring your own picnic food, beverages and birthday treat/cake

  • Celebrate your child’s special day with a day on an alpaca farm! Gather friends and family in a semi-private pasture that overlooks the entire farm, and embark on this dream adventure!

    What’s included:

    • Two-hour rental of a 100% private pasture with low, Boho-style communal tables, plus a 30-minute set-up period and a 30-minute take-down period

    • Maximum of 40 guests, capacity includes adults and children

    • A bucket of alpaca food for each child to feed the alpacas

    • Special shirt for birthday child

    • Ability to bring your own picnic food, beverages and birthday treat/cake

  • Need more? Don’t worry. There’s a lot we can add to the party.
